Personal Assistant

Mehiläinen is expanding its team with personal assistants for Mehiläinen Personal Help in Ikaalinen. The role involves assisting clients with everyday tasks such as housekeeping, shopping, and activities outside the home. The work is paced calmly and provides a concrete way to improve a client’s everyday life. No prior experience is required; attitude and customer orientation are key. The employee’s supervisor is the client or a person authorized by the client; the employer is Mehiläinen. The position is mainly weekdays and shifts are determined by the client’s needs. We aim to match you with assignments that have good travel connections and, where possible, longer-term, familiar clients. We expect reliability and commitment to long-term avustustyö. Applicants must be of legal age, have Finnish language skills at least at level B1, be reliable, proactive, and have a friendly, customer-centered attitude. In the recruitment process, you will need to provide a criminal records extract for work with elderly and disabled persons. TB screening is required for those meeting THL risk criteria. Personal assistant hourly pay is 12.79–14.06 EUR per hour, with increments by experience: 0 years = 12.79 €, 5 years = 13.21 €, 8 years = 13.63 €, 11 years = 14.06 €. In addition, there may be evening (+15%), night (+40%), Saturday (+25%), Sunday (+100%) surcharges. In casual employment, holiday pay is 9% of hourly pay.
