As Manager Supply Chain, you will ensure that integrated planning supports both business performance and customer commitments across the entire supply chain. The role exists to strengthen end-to-end supply chain planning, improve decision-making, reduce our environmental footprint and build resilience in a dynamic market shaped by changing demand raw material availability. By bringing together people, processes, data, and planning systems, you will enable fact-based decisions that balance commercial objectives, operational capabilities, and long-term profitability while supporting sustainable growth and continuous improvement. Your opportunity As Manager Supply Chain, you own and govern the integrated planning framework that connects global raw materials sourcing, production, sales, and logistics across the business. You ensure alignment between commercial objectives and operational constraints by establishing clear planning principles, decision governance, and reliable data. The role is part of the Commercial Management Team and reports to the General Manager. Acting as a functional leader across a matrix organization, you bring together stakeholders from multiple functions, sites, and business areas to create shared priorities, strengthen planning capabilities, and support business performance through informed decision-making. What you will do Lead the Sales & Operations Planning process across the business. Coordinate integrated planning between raw materials sourcing, production, sales, and logistics functions. Manage the Control Tower and commercial planning systems to support end-to-end supply chain visibility. Develop advanced scenario planning to evaluate business opportunities, risks, and operational alternatives. Ensure high-quality planning data, aligned assumptions, and robust decision-making processes. Improve supply chain planning processes, tools, and ways of working across the organization. Support capability development within the matrix planning community through knowledge sharing and collaboration. Monitor logistics planning solutions and budgets while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability. What you bring You build trust through clear communication and create productive relationships across functions, locations, and areas of expertise. You bring people together around common goals and help teams balance different priorities to achieve the best outcome for the business. By combining structure, business understanding, and analytical thinking, you turn complex information into practical actions and well-informed decisions. You are comfortable influencing without formal line responsibility and can create alignment across a matrix organization. You take ownership, follow through on commitments, and contribute to a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement. Qualifications A Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Economics, or a related field. Experience in Supply Chain Management, Integrated Business Planning, Sales & Operations Planning, or similar planning environments. Experience working across multiple functions in a complex industrial organization. Strong business and financial understanding, including the impact of production, logistics, and working capital decisions. Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken. Experience from the metals, or other capital-intensive industries. Category B driving licence. Meritorious Experience It is considered an advantage if you have: Experience in commercial planning or supply chain strategy. Experience in logistics and transportation planning. Experience in business process development and continuous improvement. Experience developing digital business solutions and planning tools.
