We are seeking a skilled metal industry CNC machinist/turner for a Lahden-based machine shop on a permanent basis. The role involves independent work with multi-axis CNC turning (and milling on the machine). Machining of cutting paths is done with Autodesk Fusion 360 Cam software and an Okuma control (formerly Fanuc). Other important tasks include sawing, fixture making, programming, machining and finishing. Prior shop floor experience is a plus. The ideal candidate has metalworking training, experience with CNC lathes, and strong ability to work independently, with good Finnish language skills as the supervisor operates in Finnish. High work ethic and ability to interpret images for required actions are expected. The Vision worker promise includes salary aligned with TES Teknologiateollisuus/hourly rate of 15–18 €/h depending on skills, a 6-month initial assignment through Vision, 40 hours per week, semi-monthly pay, thorough onboarding, daily operational support, and opportunities to further develop skills.
