Metal Worker

Are you a skilled metalworker with welding experience from Karjaa? You could be the person we are looking for for Sisu Auto’s vehicle production. In this role you will not work on the same parts day after day; you will handle different components, repairs and new solutions. In Protopaja, we manufacture, modify and repair metal parts related to vehicles and carry out various test and prototype tasks. The job suits someone who enjoys varied tasks and practical problem solving. What is the job like? It involves welding, manufacture and modification of metal parts, repairs, and building various prototypes. You may also operate machining machines and other metalworking equipment depending on your skills. You will receive the necessary training for the tasks and machines. Work is done according to drawings and work instructions, as well as in situations where the most suitable method must be decided practically. The work requires carefulness, initiative and the ability to deliver quality results. The job is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, day shift. We expect you to have: experience with MIG/MAG welding or other suitable welding; basic metalworking skills; ability to read technical drawings or willingness to learn to read them; Finnish language skills; interest in diverse metal and repair tasks. It is also advantageous to have: valid welding certificates; experience with machining or use of metalworking machines; knowledge of automotive or machine workshop industries; versatile welding skills. Welding and basic metalworking skills should be present, but you do not need to know everything at once. You will be trained for tasks, machines and Sisu Auto working methods.
