We are seeking a part-time early childhood education assistant for Kivisilta Daycare in Pomarkku, starting 1 October 2026. The early childhood education assistant is responsible for care, upbringing and teaching according to the children’s age and development. You will participate in planning, implementing and evaluating your group’s activities together with other team members. We expect a pedagogically strong approach, warm interaction with children and guardians, and good communication skills. We value flexibility and a positive attitude to work, as well as creative and child-inclusive work methods. Eligibility requires a basic qualification in education and guidance (as per 540/2018 §28) or a social and health care basic qualification or another suitable equivalent qualification, including substantial parts of the child care, upbringing and teaching qualification. We may invite qualified applicants to interviews during the application period. Salary is determined according to KVTES (5VKA54A1 2451.44€); a six-month probationary period applies. The selected candidate must provide a criminal background check and a health certificate within 30 days of the decision notice.
