We are currently seeking a procurement specialist to join our growing team to support our accounting department and handle construction procurement for the special construction unit. Our company’s office is located in Vantaa, and most of the construction sites are in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Our projects are generally demanding or exceptionally demanding new build and/or renovation construction sites. To succeed in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in procurement within a construction company. Your responsibilities will include active site visits to ensure smooth procurement processes and adherence to schedules. You are able to create reasonable procurement packages according to the Talo80 system for various project sizes, from hundred-thousand-euro projects to several tens of millions of euros. You know subcontractors suitable for different project sizes and work methods. You actively expand your network and handle even the most complex procurement packages confidently. You can work on multiple projects simultaneously and plan your work hours independently to meet deadlines. Your daily tasks will include requesting preliminary offers for projects, conducting offer comparisons, preparing procurement plans for construction sites, and executing site-specific procurement in collaboration with other site personnel.
