Predictive Maintenance Engineer

We are hiring a Predictive Maintenance Engineer for the Imatra mills on a permanent basis. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for continuously developing maintenance, improving equipment reliability and systematically developing maintenance expertise. You will play a key role in developing and implementing predictive maintenance practices and strengthening the professional skills of maintenance personnel. Key responsibilities You will own, maintain and continuously develop SMART inspection rounds. You will develop predictive maintenance practices and contribute to improving equipment reliability and availability. You will plan, maintain and analyse skills assessments for the maintenance organisation. You will plan and coordinate needs-based training in cooperation with supervisors, specialists and training providers. You will develop programmes for improving maintenance skills and maintain and develop them in the REGO system. You will participate in maintenance development projects and standardising practices. You will act as a substitute in predictive maintenance staff duties when needed. You will support the maintenance organisation in making effective use of SAP and other maintenance tools. What we expect from you A suitable technical education, for example a Bachelor of Engineering from a university of applied sciences or a Master of Science in Engineering. Experience in maintenance, maintenance development or technical expert work at a production plant. Good SAP skills. Experience using maintenance information systems and MS Office software. Ability to analyse information, develop operating practices and put changes into practice. Good communication and training skills, and an interest in developing employees’ competence. Fluent Finnish and English. You work safely and effectively both independently and as part of a group. The following are considered an advantage Experience managing and developing lubrication maintenance. Experience in condition monitoring and using condition-monitoring systems. Knowledge of reliability-centred maintenance. Experience leading predictive maintenance programmes, inspection rounds and maintenance development projects.
