
Supply Chain Engineer
Role overview: Join ROCKWOOL Rainwater Systems in Roermond as a Supply Chain Engineer and help optimize processes across demand planning, inventory management and logistics. You will work closely with teams in Supply Chain, Production, Customer Service and Logistics, contributing ideas for improvements and driving an efficient, reliable supply chain for our international customers. Your day-to-day: support demand planning and translate forecasts into production and inventory needs; monitor stock levels, delivery performance and logistics processes; identify bottlenecks and propose improvements; maintain contact with customers about deliveries, planning and operational questions; align with internal departments and logistics partners; support optimization projects aimed at efficiency and continuous improvement; produce analyses and reports to support operations. Candidate profile: HBO level thinking and working, e.g. in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or Technical Business Administration; minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations; analytical mindset with an interest in process improvement; proactive, eager to learn and good at planning and collaboration; strong Dutch and English language skills; experience with ERP systems (SAP) and MS Office is a plus.
