As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our cutting-edge molecular instruments operate at their best for healthcare providers and patients. This is a field-based role across Finland and occasionally in other Nordic countries. What You’ll Do Install and implement new molecular diagnostic systems at customer sites. Perform preventive maintenance, hardware/software upgrades, and repairs. Troubleshoot technical issues by phone and on-site, ensuring timely resolution. Provide hands-on support and training for software and hardware upgrades. Collaborate closely with Application Support Specialists and Commercial teams to deliver exceptional customer service. Manage your own tools and spare parts inventory according to Abbott standards. Represent Abbott professionally and maintain strong customer relationships. What You’ll Bring A diploma or degree in a technical discipline (engineering, electronics, or similar). Strong problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and a customer-first mindset. Good English communication skills (written and spoken) in addition to fluent Finnish. Willingness to travel within Finland Up to 5 years of experience in a technical role—or a strong motivation to learn if you’re a recent graduate.
