Lead Sales Engineer – Enterprise / Commercial We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Lead Sales Engineer to join our Enterprise / Commercial team, partnering closely with a team of Account Executives focused on new business acquisitions. This role involves acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the new business sales cycle, engaging prospective customers, uncovering needs, and delivering solution-oriented outcomes. Key responsibilities include collaborating with Account Executives to develop technical strategies for net-new customer acquisition, leading technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and proof-of-value engagements, articulating the value of SAST, SCA, DAST and LLM-based solutions, analyzing prospect environments to design tailored security solutions, supporting early-stage opportunity shaping, delivering compelling technical presentations, differentiating Black Duck in competitive cycles, contributing to account planning to expand pipeline, and supporting AI-based DevSecOps integrations. Required qualifications include 8+ years in sales engineering or related pre-sales, strong understanding of application security concepts, hands-on experience with SAST/SCA/DAST, and a technical background in software development or security engineering.
