T-DRILL Oy is seeking a purchaser for the procurement team who wants to develop supplier collaboration, strengthen supply reliability and build cost-effective solutions with the rest of the team. As a purchaser you are responsible for your own supplier group and its long-term development. Your core task is to strengthen supplier collaboration and develop procurement as a whole. In your daily work you map, evaluate and select suppliers and plan and run negotiations and bid processes. You are responsible for contract matters and monitor costs, supply reliability and quality according to agreed metrics. You work closely with production, design and quality to ensure the procurement chain runs smoothly. You monitor markets, assess risks and develop the supplier network strategically. You participate in developing the purchasing process and implement improvement actions. In addition you are responsible for placing purchase orders, handling order confirmations and tracking deliveries to keep the overall process controlled and transparent. This is a permanent full-time position with flexible working hours (6:30–9:00 / 15:00–17:00), the employment relationship is directly with T-DRILL Oy. Your primary workplace is Laihia and you have access to partial remote work or occasional work at our Seinäjoki site. What are we looking for? We are seeking a person who enjoys teamwork and wants to develop operations long-term. We expect experience in purchasing, logistics or supply chain roles and understanding of supplier collaboration and contract negotiations. We value the ability to assess costs, supply reliability and quality as a whole and to utilise systems and data to support decision-making. Your working style is systematic and responsible. You complete tasks and are willing to adopt new methods. You communicate openly and constructively with different stakeholders, and teamwork comes naturally to you. Fluency in Finnish and English is required as you work closely with domestic stakeholders and international suppliers.
