Warehouse Worker

We are looking for motivated and skilled warehouse workers for our client companies in Tornio and the surrounding area. This post provides an opportunity to submit an open application for warehouse, packing and shipping duties in the metal industry. We especially value candidates with prior experience in warehouse or logistics work and some familiarity with the metal sector. The opportunities may be temporary or longer-term depending on our clients’ needs. Job duties vary by client; tasks may include picking metal products, quality control, safeguarding and packing, and preparing items for dispatch. In shipping roles, duties may include handling shipping documents, receiving goods and processing shipments. Forklift operation and warehouse equipment use may be required. The job emphasizes diligence, organization and the ability to handle metal products safely. We expect: prior experience in warehouse, packing, picking or shipping tasks; knowledge of the metal industry through work experience or training; experience handling shipping documents; forklift driving ability (forklift certificate is a plus); careful, precise and proactive work attitude; good cooperation and communication skills; experience with warehouse management systems is a plus. Work is available according to our clients’ needs, from short stints to longer employment contracts, and the start date is agreed based on your situation. Employment can begin through personnel leasing or as direct recruitment to our client company. Wages take into account the applicable collective bargaining agreement in the client company and the level of the tasks and your prior experience in similar roles.
