Chief Executive Officer

Ote-säätiö sr is a nonprofit foundation established in 1997 that provides services supporting employment, inclusion, rehabilitation and wellbeing in the Varsinais-Suomi region. At the heart of our operations are clients’ individual pathways toward working life, education and better everyday life. We are seeking a person who can lead a socially meaningful organization and create new solutions for employment, rehabilitation and wellbeing. We are currently looking for a permanent Chief Executive Officer to guide the foundation’s operations and development as the current CEO moves to new challenges. The CEO will be responsible for strategic and operational leadership in collaboration with the board. You will lead finances, personnel and service operations and ensure the foundation’s activities align with its purpose, values and goals. In this role you will have the opportunity to renew the foundation’s activities, strengthen service competitiveness and impact, and seek new cooperation and service models in a changing operating environment. Key responsibilities include: leading the foundation’s operations, finances and personnel; implementing strategy and developing operations; ensuring quality, impact and performance of services; leading customer, network and stakeholder collaboration; managing tenders, projects and contracts; preparing and implementing board decisions; representing the foundation and engaging in advocacy in regional and national networks. We seek a person with: an advanced university degree in social and health care (e.g. Social Welfare Professional with a master’s level AMK or Nurse with a master’s level AMK); experience in personnel and financial leadership for at least 3 years; proven track record in leading and developing an organization; strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; ability to lead change and build cooperation with diverse actors; fluent Finnish; willingness to travel within Varsinais-Suomi and to use own car. desirable are knowledge of social, rehabilitation, wellbeing or employment services; experience with public procurement and tenders; experience with foundations or associations; experience with project funding and development activities; Swedish language skills. we offer: meaningful leadership role in a societally impactful organization; opportunity to shape operations for the future; a capable and committed staff; broad networks; board support; annual ePassi benefit of 200 EUR; occupational health care beyond the statutory minimum; leisure-time insurance; leadership coaching/supervision; salary to be negotiated with the selected candidate.
