We are looking for a committed and motivated early childhood educator for Kilteri Daycare as a temporary replacement during parental leave from August 10, 2026 to December 31, 2026. The job is three-shift work. In our 24/7 daycare, children are offered diverse pedagogical activities in all everyday moments, including evenings and weekends. We value meeting and valuing each child as a unique individual, and our practice emphasizes small-group pedagogy, child participation and being heard, and positive pedagogy. We also value taking time, allowing children to think and reflect. At our daycare, information and communication technology pedagogy, music, artistic expression and physical activity have roots in everyday life. Kilteri Daycare has 32 early childhood education professionals. Our work community is relaxed and positive; staff are capable, committed and able to take responsibility in everyday situations and decisions. Collaboration and mutual respect are important to us. The daycare is located in Myyrmäki, Vantaa, with modern, one-story spaces. We have a large gym, studio and nature-lab, plus a large two-story yard enabling outdoor pedagogy.
