Tamperelainen is seeking a journalist for a permanent position. We expect prior experience and demonstrated success in journalistic reporting. You identify local news opportunities on the street, in social media or online, and have a wide writing style beyond basic news. You understand the value of enriching online stories with analytics and are proficient in using new expressions, including video and audio. Tampere knowledge and familiarity with local news topics are considered a plus. The role includes desk shifts requiring quick, independent decision-making, and modern newsroom tools. AI skills and the ability to handle new topics and areas are essential. The job is based at Tamperelainen's Tamperre office in Koskitalo, primarily day-time work with occasional evening and weekend shifts.
