We are seeking a permanent Chief Physician in Pulmonary Diseases for Satakunta wellbeing district, based in Pori. The Chief Physician combines clinical expert work with organizational development. About 20-30% of working time is allocated to administrative tasks such as development of operations. The head of the Medical Clinic Group's responsibility unit acts as an active support and is responsible, among other things, for financial administration. This enables you to focus on leading, developing, and performing in your specialty. Implementation of fiber-optic bronchoscopy is planned for 2027. The qualification requirement is a licensed pulmonologist in Finland, good Finnish language skills, and several years of experience as a specialist. Previous supervisory or administrative experience is advantageous but not mandatory. We value strong collaboration and interpersonal skills and a willingness to develop operations with other professionals. Salary is determined according to Satakunta wellbeing district’s salary system; recruitment allowance may be used. The total monthly salary for the Chief Physician is about €10,000, with additional allowances for further training, qualifications, and special expertise. Partial remote work is possible; there is no on-call obligation.
