Personal Care Assistant

Neuroliitto’s versatile and modern Pihapihlaja residential care home is located in the Huhtala district of Seinäjoki. The residential home provides long- and short-term supported housing, personal assistance and day activities for people of different ages with neurological conditions. We live life to the fullest, despite illnesses. We are now looking for an ASSISTANT for a fixed-term employment relationship through 31 August 2027. The assistants’ duties consist of varied personal assistance for residents and general supportive tasks at the residential home, such as: - assisting residents with errands and hobbies outside Pihapihlaja - distributing food, helping residents eat and carrying out supportive kitchen tasks (no food preparation) - laundry duties - running errands for the residential home, for example transporting samples or collecting care supplies Work is mainly on weekdays, but there is also work in the evenings and on weekends. This position has 70% working time. We hope you have care assistant training or other suitable education or experience. We value a genuine interest in and experience of working with people with severe disabilities. You meet our residents and their close ones warmly and respectfully. You are able to work as a member of a team and have good interpersonal skills. We offer you: - Employee benefits include, among other things, an Epassi wellbeing/sports/culture benefit of up to €200 per year and leisure-time accident insurance; coffee and tea are available at the workplace, and pastries are served on Fridays. - Pay according to the Private Social Services Sector collective agreement, grade G18B, starting at €1,595.16 per month (70% working time).
