Automation Software Engineer

You will focus on automation software engineering and commissioning, ensuring that product functionalities meet specific customer requirements. The role involves a mix of office-based design work and hands-on testing and optimization at various international locations. We are looking for Knowledge of Siemens F-PLC S7-1500 and TIA Portal Experience with WinCC or Siemens HMI/SCADA (AVEVA) systems Understanding of industrial networks including PROFINET, PROFIBUS, and OPC UA Experience with SINAMICS drives and industrial field devices Ability to read electrical drawings, I/O lists, and P&IDs Good English communication and customer-service skills. Fluency in Finnish is considered an advantage. Technical degree or qualification in automation or control engineering Willingness to travel internationally (20-80%) for site work Advanced troubleshooting and independent problem-solving skills A valid work permit for Finland is required.
