Eurajoki launches a new model of operation in which three doctors are placed in the same multidisciplinary team to serve the population of one municipality. The aim is to strengthen continuity of care, improve patients’ ability to consult with a familiar team, and create a more manageable and long‑term way for doctors to work. The Eurajoki social and health center serves about 9,000 residents. The three doctors to be recruited will form their own team responsible for delivering the municipality’s services in collaboration with nurses and other professionals. The role includes outpatient duties and other physician tasks at the health center. The goal is to allow doctors to focus on high-quality patient work and maintain long‑term patient relationships. Salary is determined by the doctor’s contract, with a career ladder system starting at €7,236.63/month plus performance-based pay.
