The Sievi Jussinpekan upper secondary school has a vacancy for a school social worker/personal guidance counselor for the period 14 Sept 2026 to 19 Dec 2026. The role includes daily provision of personal guidance as a counselor for one pupil for 4 hours per day in collaboration with a special class teacher, and additionally acting as group supervisor in general education classes. The work time is about 30 hours per week. After the fixed-term period, continuation of the employment may be possible depending on circumstances and needs. A social welfare worker qualification is desired, but qualifications as a school attendance supervisor or a practical nurse will also be considered. When filling the position, NEPSY test knowledge, initiative, independent work, and previous work in a school community are considered advantageous. Salary is in accordance with KVTES.
