Electrical & Maintenance Technician

You will be part of the Vestas Northern & Central Europe organization, responsible for wind farm sales, projects, installation and maintenance. Our head office is in Vaasa, with several offices across Finland. We are currently seeking an electrician to join our team and take responsibility for maintenance and upkeep of wind turbines in Alajärvi. Responsibilities include: routine maintenance and upkeep under service contracts, inspections, repairs and component replacements; fault finding and repairs; operation and monitoring of remote management systems; customer collaboration; daily reporting with SAP. Requirements: previous training in electrical work; experience in hydraulics or mechanics is a plus; fluency in Finnish and English; IT literacy for reporting and using various software; good physical condition and ability to work at height; valid B-class driver’s license. We expect you to be service-minded, motivated to work in a team and communicate with different departments; independent and methodical; flexible; open to travel.
