Early Childhood Education Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic early childhood education teacher to join Illenpihan unit in Vantaa. You will help create a meaningful daily life for children, where the child is truly at the center. The position is a temporary replacement with the possibility to become permanent: 19.08.2026 or as agreed - 31.07.2027. The team includes two teachers and one child care assistant; we seek a heartful educator to join the group. The unit is part of Illenpihan varhaiskasvatusyksikkö, together with Illenpuiston day care. We value exploring new methods and encourage innovative approaches. ProVaka is used to support children's social skills, and you commit to following these principles with the unit staff. Good written and spoken Finnish skills are required. The recruitment process may involve video interviews and applications are welcomed during the open period. The salary is 3,129.46–3,234.53 EUR per month; an additional 15 EUR per month applies to employees meeting the varhaiskasvatuksen opettajan kelpoisuusvaatimukset, and 37.88 EUR per month for those with a master’s degree. Experience-based increases of 3–8% may apply. Applicants must provide a current criminal background check and TB screening for staff who work with preschool children.
