We are seeking two CNC machinists / manual machinists for Jamenet Oy, Lohja, for a long-term employment. The roles require capable, autonomous and motivated machinists who want to work in a versatile machine shop. The machines include Mazak lathes and milling centers, plus Okuma and Union tools and manual machines. Programming Mazak can be taught on the job, so not everything needs to be known beforehand. Some Fanuc systems are used as well. Jamenet Oy operates in Lohja Muijala industrial area in collaboration with Sideko Oy. The company does machining, welding, installation and maintenance work with a 15-person informal team. The tasks are flexible and can be tailored to your skills and interests. Training will be provided. Work starts quickly once suitable people are found, Monday to Friday, shift start 6–7, 8.5 hours including a 30-minute unpaid lunch. You must have your own car for commuting. Primary duties include CNC operation and setup, fabrication of parts from small to large, manual machining, programming and modification of programs, measurements and quality control, reading technical drawings, producing various parts, etc. We expect about five years of experience; however, motivated and quick learners with less experience may fit well. Requirements include CNC and/or manual machining skills, a technical degree is an advantage but experience is prioritized, ability to read drawings, ability to work independently, meticulous and proactive attitude, willingness to learn new machines and methods, reliability and strong motivation, commitment to long-term roles, good Finnish language skills, own car. We offer a long-term position in versatile machining, opportunities to grow and learn new methods, tasks aligned with your skills and interests, work clothes and PPE provided by the employer, salary based on skill and experience, about 14–24 €/h, based on the Technology Industry collective agreement.
