We are looking for you Teacher in Early Childhood Education Vichtis municipality offers diverse services in early childhood education, with child-centered activities. We offer you an interesting job and opportunities to participate in training. We are seeking a teacher in early childhood education. The position begins on 17 August 2026 and is permanent. We value good teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards work. The position is primarily at Aleksandra Daycare in new premises at Etelä-Nummela School Center. Aleksandra Daycare provides early childhood education and preschool in Swedish, for children with Swedish as their native language or home language. The children are in a diverse and permissive learning environment where each child is seen as a unique part of the community. The activities are planned based on the children's needs and interests, while educators maintain a consistent thread, and children actively participate in planning activities, which enhances participation. We actively utilize the diverse nature of our local environment, which strengthens children's connection to nature and teaches them to take care of their surroundings' well-being. Play is a significant part of the activities, during which children practice social and emotional skills. The Swedish-language educational pathway begins in early childhood education at Aleksandra Daycare and continues through preschool to primary school in Nummela. Aleksandra Daycare moved to new premises at Etelä-Nummela School and Daycare Center in January. Qualifications in accordance with the Act on Early Childhood Education (540/2018). The applicant must provide a criminal record extract, as per the Act (504/2002) on the control of criminal background for persons working with children, and a health certificate. Additionally, we require Swedish as a native language or similar proficiency in Swedish. The position is filled with a six-month probation period.
