PRODUCTION DIRECTOR Earthpac Oy In this role, you can draw on the full range of your production leadership skills. Six production units. Different production environments. Daily management, people, efficiency, standardisation, investments and strategy. If you have so far had to choose between operational work and strategic development, you do not have to make that choice in this role. As our business grows, we are strengthening our organisation. We are looking for a Production Director who is equally at home in the everyday work of production and at the executive table. You want to understand what is happening in production while also taking a longer-term view and building a shared direction for all production. Your role As Production Director, you are responsible for developing production performance in the short, medium and long term. Your remit spans daily management and continuous improvement, capacity utilisation, investments and development of the production structure. In this role, you will: - lead the six production units as a whole and develop their operational efficiency - clarify objectives, metrics and practical actions to ensure results - improve material and workforce efficiency - harmonise ways of working and make standardisation part of day-to-day work - support and challenge production managers and production leads, and strengthen collaboration between the units - contribute to executive-team and strategy work from the production perspective. What kind of leader will succeed in this role? For you, continuous improvement is not a method or a one-off development project, but a way to lead production and engage people in development. You get close to the work, ask questions and observe. When a change is agreed, you put it into practice and ensure the new way of working takes hold. You will succeed if you: - are curious and want to understand why things are done the way they are - lead change with clear objectives and follow through on agreed actions over the long term - understand different production environments, from automation and robotics to more manual work - can prioritise and challenge constructively, even when there is too much to do - work independently in an environment where not everything is documented and support functions are limited - can work in a multicultural environment and use at least English in your work. A particular certificate is not the most important thing. What matters is the ability to combine production knowledge, people leadership and goal-oriented development. Why Earthpac? Founded in 1995, Earthpac is an industrial packaging company. Its entrepreneurial operating model means straightforward decision-making, little bureaucracy and the ability to move sensible initiatives forward quickly. The role offers you: - a central role in the company's operational efficiency and strategy implementation, as well as an incentive-based reward model - the opportunity to build shared ways of working across several production units - a growth-oriented environment willing to invest and develop - the opportunity to take part in future growth projects and acquisitions in Finland or internationally. In this role, you will not simply maintain what already exists. You can build and leave your mark on how Earthpac's production is led in the future. Interested? If you are looking for a role where you can combine production leadership and business development, we would like to hear from you. Please submit your application and CV through the form below by 6 November 2026.
