Early years teacher

We are seeking a permanent early years teacher from 1 October 2026. As an early years teacher you will be responsible for planning and implementing pedagogical activities for your group and you will also act as team leader. You will guide your team with a positive approach to develop and evaluate pedagogy and activities. An important part of the work is collaboration with families. In cooperation with other early childhood education staff you will ensure that high-quality early childhood education is carried out every day. We expect the applicant to have a pedagogical approach, warm interaction with children and guardians, and good communication skills. We value initiative and flexibility and a positive attitude toward work. The qualification requirement for early childhood education teaching tasks is the bachelor's degree in education, including professional studies giving qualifications for early childhood education tasks, as laid down by government decrees, or as supplemented by those studies. In addition, applicants meet the transitional provisions concerning personnel in the Early Childhood Education Act 540/2018. Salary is determined according to OVTES (450044A1 2809.37€); a six-month trial period applies. The selected person must submit a criminal record extract and a health certificate required for permanent employment within 30 days of the decision.
