Embedded Devices Software Solution Sales Manager

Canonical is expanding its Embedded Devices Software Solution Sales team, hiring managers, directors, and account managers to broaden reach in mission-critical industries. The successful candidates will focus on Ubuntu product portfolio, widely used in connected devices and industrial PCs, including Ubuntu Core for IoT, offering security and resilience for high-end appliances and equipment. The role involves prospecting sales, developing strategic accounts, and selling open source, services, and software solutions. Candidates should have experience with embedded Linux, RTOS, and enterprise software, and be comfortable with technical sales to senior enterprise levels. The role is remote in Americas timezones, requiring travel regionally and internationally twice a year. Responsibilities include building sales plans, developing pipelines, closing contracts, managing customer relationships, and working with colleagues.
