We are seeking a psychologist for a permanent position in the specialized outpatient youth psychiatry clinic in Rauma. The youth psychiatry outpatient clinic treats and assesses youths aged 13–22. The team includes a physician and three nurses in addition to the psychologist. The psychologist’s duties include psychological testing and evaluations, therapeutic conversations, and multidisciplinary teamwork. As a psychologist at Rauma Youth Psychiatry Clinic you will join an experienced and well-functioning team and receive necessary supervision. We also view training positively. The direct supervisor is the Chief Psychologist. We offer a sport, culture and wellbeing benefit and a free gym in Rauma, Harjavalta, Pori and Ulvila. The eligibility criteria include being a licensed psychologist. In addition, we require excellent oral and written Finnish language skills and good collaboration and interpersonal skills. Prior psychological work experience with youths and their families is considered an advantage. The employment terms follow the SOTE collective agreement. The position’s salary is 4612.38 EUR per month. Before starting, the successful applicant must provide a police record extract under the act on background checks for persons working with minors (504/2002). We observe a 6-month probationary period. Original copies of diplomas and certificates will be reviewed during the interview process. Interviews will take place during weeks 38–39. The position starts on 19 October or by agreement.
