The City of Helsinki is seeking a proactive and solution-oriented Project Designer for the Neighborhood Alliance within Helsinki Employment Services. The Neighborhood Alliance is an innovative operating model where employment services are developed in close cooperation with the city, service providers, companies, and organizations to address regional challenges such as the employment of non-native speakers, youth education paths, and the prevention of long-term unemployment. As a Project Designer, you will be specifically responsible for planning, development, and coordination tasks related to data-driven management. You will promote the development of a new customer data and reporting system in collaboration with the project's coordination partner, coordinate its implementation, and handle maintenance. Your duties include defining data needs, describing processes, developing reporting views, and preparing data protection measures. Additionally, you will produce and refine information to support operational development and customer guidance, develop data management practices, and handle various coordination tasks such as facility arrangements, finances, payment monitoring, and guidelines. You will also coordinate workshops and events. You will work closely with the project manager, the project team, and the partner network. The role is suitable for someone who enjoys 'hands-on' project work, can drive things forward independently and proactively, and can operate effectively in a changing environment and network-like cooperation. The position is fixed-term until January 31, 2028, starting September 7, 2026, or as agreed. It includes a six-month probationary period.
