Healthcare Assistant

A welcoming team seeks a qualified healthcare assistant with the ability to adapt to changing situations and work in multidisciplinary teams. Travel is involved, requiring a driving license and access to a car. The assistant works with adults, mainly elderly, autonomously and aims for clients to live in their own homes as long as possible, safely and with meaningful, individualized care plans reflecting the client’s strengths and family support. Each client has an assigned caregiver; planning considers the caregiver’s role. Daily work emphasizes everyday rehabilitation, safe medication administration, and holistic care. Eligibility: social and health care basic qualification or an equivalent previous qualification; registration with Valvira. Employment and wage terms follow the SOTE collective agreement; trial period applies. Starting salary is 2767.43 EUR per month. Criminal background check required by law; drug testing may be requested. Medication licenses for home care must be completed or completed within two months of starting.
