We are looking for a motivated Electrical Automation Technician to join our team in a permanent position. How you will make an impact The responsibilities described below are more than daily tasks. As an Electrical Automation Technician, you will be responsible for: - Electrical and automation maintenance of production equipment and systems - Finding and repairing electrical faults - Preventive maintenance and documentation - Inspections and equipment updates for automation systems - Working with production, maintenance and external partners The work includes both independent tasks and teamwork. The working time is daytime work, 40 hours per week. Flexible working hours and time-off-in-lieu days are available. The terms of employment follow the Technology Industry workers’ collective agreement. The following skills and experience will help you succeed in this role and support the operational excellence that underpins our business every day: - Relevant education - Experience in industrial maintenance, automation equipment or electrical installation - Ability to read electrical and automation diagrams - Good problem-solving skills and an initiative-taking, responsible approach to work - Valid electrical safety and occupational safety cards, or readiness to obtain them - Experience with PLC systems (Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation) - Knowledge of industrial communications systems - Knowledge of frequency converters and servo systems - Desire to improve processes and bring forward new ideas - Strong commitment to occupational safety Option 1 – Production roles: Work environment: This role in Finland requires full-time attendance at our Mäntsälä factory. Starting salary: from EUR 3,000 gross per month. The final salary will be determined based on the applicant’s education, experience, competence, skills and abilities, as well as internal pay equity and market comparisons. Bonus programme: This role is eligible for participation in Ball’s annual incentive programme.
