We are seeking a substitute History and Social Studies teacher for Seinäjoki lukio starting 14 September 2026 and ending 5 June 2027. The role includes teaching the history and social studies curriculum for both the day and adult programs. The position involves delivering on-site and online courses. A precious asset will be the ability, experience, and enthusiasm to develop teaching in the field in collaboration with other stakeholders. We require versatile pedagogical skills from the applicant. Seinäjoki lukio’s day program has over 900 students and the adult program about 100. The school actively participates in developing upper secondary education in Finland and we work closely with regional and national partners among other upper secondary schools. We are looking for a knowledgeable professional in the field and we value expertise in upper secondary education and the ability to get along well with students and other staff. The position is fixed-term from 14 September 2026. Salary is in accordance with OV TES. Eligibility requirements follow the regulations for the teaching staff (14 December 1998/986).
