Assistant Controller

As Assistant Controller you will be part of our finance team. You will support daily financial processes and look beyond the numbers. Responsibilities include supporting the financial administration (sales and purchasing invoices, time accounting), month-end closing (balance analyses, journal postings, intercompany reconciliations), preparing financial reports, VAT and ICP returns, audits and year-end audits, preparing project reports for the Project Controller, identifying process and system improvements, contributing to automation and optimization projects, and supporting various financial and administrative tasks and ad hoc activities. You should not require years of experience; we seek the right attitude. You are curious, quick to learn, and willing to take initiative, enjoy teamwork, and ask questions when you see opportunities to improve. Requirements include a HBO-education in Finance & Control, Business Economics, Accountancy or related field; strong analytical ability and numeracy; good communication in Dutch and English; good Excel skills; interest in process improvement, reporting and automation; availability of at least 32 hours per week and residence near Eindhoven.
