Bilingual Interpreter

TransPerfect Connect interpreters provide interpretation services in a professional setting, starting with training and progressing to on-call interpretations. Spanish bilinguals are trained for Over the Phone Interpretation and work to help clients communicate across language barriers. The program includes four weeks of remote/online training with a dedicated trainer, focusing on interpretation and industry terminology. After training, interpreters are expected to demonstrate excellent customer service, communicate clearly, and adhere to work requirements. Opportunities exist to learn new subjects, handle more challenging call types, and advance within the company. Qualifications include Advanced English Proficiency, Dominican ID, High School Diploma, 1+ year contact center experience, reliable internet (25 Mbps minimum), electricity contract (last invoice), power inverter or uninterruptible power source, address within city limits (Gran Santo Domingo), and a quiet workspace/home office with no distractions.
