About the role

Pennylane is hiring a Functional Project Manager for Accounting Migration who will join the Partner Solutions Specialists team. You will be the business subject-matter expert in direct contact with cabinets during migration projects, working alongside the PSS Back (Partner Solutions Architect) who handles integration and technical aspects. The role sits at the intersection of project management, accounting expertise, and client relations, with a strong advisory and continuous improvement dimension. Key daily missions include auditing and analyzing functional needs, planning and leading meetings with cabinets, documenting user stories, and running workshops; managing migration projects with clear, documented paths; configuring Pennylane to fit cabinet processes; participating in functional tests; providing post-migration support, testing, and reporting; identifying automation opportunities; staying aligned with product and business needs; collaborating with Front/Back teams. The profile requires accounting training (IUT GEA, BTS CGO, DCG, DSCG, Master CCA), experience in an accounting firm (ideally with migrations), strong communication skills, service orientation, autonomy with teamwork, a desire to learn, and English at least A2. Nice-to-haves include startup experience, English B1, synthesis and pedagogy, proactivity and autonomy. Responsibilities

  • Audit and analyze functional needs
  • Plan, prepare and lead meetings with cabinets — from kickoff to Retex, including briefings, scoping and debriefings
  • Analyze business needs from field feedback and migration experiences
  • Write documentation and user stories for other teams
  • Run workshops and webinars — some focused on business uses, others more transversal
  • Migration project management
  • Ensure migrations follow a clear, documented path for all stakeholders
  • Adapt approach to situations while ensuring existing processes for true cross-team collaboration
  • Communicate regularly on alignment between technical solutions and business needs
  • Be the information relay to PSS Back responsible for integration, correction and control
  • Business preparation and configuration
  • Contribute to Pennylane configuration to fit cabinet processes
  • Participate in functional testing to validate required business functions before migration
  • Post-migration support and testing
  • Collaborate with PSS Back teams on debugging and post-migration issues
