About the role

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join our QEA Team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Java-Selenium and Rest Assured API automation testing. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing robust test automation frameworks for both web applications and complex APIs. In this role, you will Build and maintain API automation frameworks from scratch. Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java,TestNG and Selenium/Playwright. Develop and execute comprehensive automated test scripts for RESTful APIs using REST Assured. Ensure deep functional, integration, and regression test coverage across both frontend (UI) and backend (API) layers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software solutions. Ensure timely delivery of automation test coverage as part of Agile sprints. Apply your understanding of Generative AI platforms to test AI-driven features or utilize AI tools to optimize the testing lifecycle. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and quality metrics.
