This vacancy is for a hospital physicist employed in the Diagnostics Center, radiology area, at HUS Helsinki University Hospital. The role centers on imaging related to surgery and radiation use, magnetic resonance processes, and general hospital physics duties including radiological safety responsibilities and multi-modality medical physics work. The hospital physicist will be part of a multidisciplinary team, primarily working at Meilahti hospital area but also in other units within the Diagnostics Center. The position is demanding, requiring motivation, resilience under pressure, and good interpersonal skills across professions and organizational boundaries. It is beneficial to have research merits and multi-disciplinary teaching experience. The work involves technical radiation duties and a six-month probationary period. Strong Finnish language skills are required for collaboration with other professional groups and authorities. The salary range is 5441.61–6555.37 euros per month, according to the SOTE collective agreement. The appointment is full-time with an expected start on 1 October 2026 or by agreement.
