Job Description Do you want to be responsible for the daily management of diverse earthworks projects in a growing company? We are looking for a foreman in the Uusimaa region. In this role, you will work in a practical environment that combines site management, personnel guidance, and ensuring the smooth progress of work. As a foreman, you are responsible for the daily operations of the site and ensure that the work progresses according to plans, schedules, and goals. You will work closely with employees, subcontractors, and the client, ensuring safe and high-quality work on site. Tasks - Daily management of site operations - Organizing the work of work groups and machine groups - Scheduling work phases and monitoring progress - Coordinating resources and proactive planning of work - Placing material orders and coordinating procurement - Ensuring site plans are up to date - Monitoring occupational safety, quality, and efficiency - Cooperation with employees, subcontractors, and other stakeholders We are looking for - Relevant technical education (e.g., construction foreman, civil engineer, or infrastructure construction training) - Previous experience in foreman roles within the construction or earthworks industry - Ability to read plans and guide work phases accordingly - Fluent oral and written Finnish skills and good English skills - Good interaction and cooperation skills - Class B driver's license We value it if you have - Experience specifically from earthworks sites - A background in practical earthworks or worker roles - KVV qualification To succeed in the role, you are: - Solution-oriented and goal-driven - Self-directed and proactive - A natural leader who dares to make decisions - Cooperative and approachable - Good at grasping the big picture even in a rush Our recruitment process Academic Work is handling this search on behalf of its client, who requests that all questions regarding the position be directed to Academic Work.
