Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the environmental team and individual staff members; contribute to strategy, profitability, market development, quality and competence development; combine leadership with consulting work as a project lead or technical specialist; travel to clients and sites; hold responsibility for staff development and working conditions; engage in teamwork, development and knowledge enhancement; foster strong teams, drive business and build a culture of belonging; deliver innovative and sustainable solutions in AFRY assignments.
Requirements
- Eight or more years of experience in the environmental field, at least three years as an environmental consultant, strong knowledge of environmental permits, nature environment and/or contaminated land, good knowledge of Swedish environmental law, an academic degree in environmental science or related technical field, experience from consulting, experience as a project lead, proven leadership ability, strong social skills, willingness to develop technically and in business/leadership matters, business-minded, relationship-building, established industry network is a plus, ability to share knowledge with customers and colleagues, fluent Swedish and English, driving license (B).
