Educational Psychologist

You will work as a school psychologist in the Karjaa student welfare service at S:t Karins Swedish school and Piispanlähteen school (grades 1–6) and their preschool units. You contribute psychological expertise to early childhood education and the school, and you support children’s learning, growth, development and well-being. Your daily work combines individual client work, community-oriented work and multidisciplinary collaboration with school staff and other professionals in student welfare. Your psychological expertise is valued and seen as an important part of the school community. You will have the support of the leading school psychologist and an experienced psychology team in the region, always available when needed. Your duties include: individual support and guidance for students in learning, growth, development and well-being; participation in multidisciplinary expert groups; community work at the school; assessment of learning difficulties.
