You will work as a school psychologist in the Kaarina student welfare services at S:t Karins svenska skolan and Piispanlähteen koulun (grades 1–6) and the accompanying preschool units. You contribute with psychological expertise to the school community and support children’s learning, growth, development and well-being. Your daily work combines individual client work, communal duties and multidisciplinary collaboration with school staff and other professionals in student welfare. Your professional psychology expertise is valued and seen as important in the school community. You will have the support of the lead school psychologist and an experienced psychologist team in the region, who are available when needed. Your duties include: individual support and guidance for pupils related to learning, growth, development and well-being; participating in multidisciplinary expert groups; community work at the school; mapping learning difficulties.
