Vaiha Oy is a family-owned restaurant group based in Mikkeli, operating since 2017. Vaiha restaurants include Vaiha Asema at Mikkeli railway station, restaurant Pormestari on the inner courtyard of the town hall, and Vaiha Elias in Kaukolassa. Since summer 2024 a terrace restaurant Pikku Pormestari has operated in the city square. We are opening in August–September a new lunch and catering restaurant Vaiha Pitäjän in Mikkeli, Rantakylä. Our services include lunch, catering and event services as well as meeting services. We are enthusiastic and passionate about our work and aim to develop our operations to provide customers year-round high-quality restaurant experiences through lunches, catering and events. We are looking for a waiter for a permanent full-time position. The position is 112.5 hours per 3 weeks. Start date in August–September. As a waiter your duties include café, meeting, lunch and catering service tasks and all other waiter duties. Depending on your strengths and interests your workstation may focus on one site or you may work across multiple sites. The job includes evening and weekend work. You are outgoing, positive, flexible and a warm customer service person even in rush. We require hygiene and serving passes.
