Service Worker

We take care of cleaning services needed by municipalities and the wellbeing area. Cleaning keeps facilities pleasant and safe. The job is independent. The cleaning work is varied and includes maintenance and basic cleaning tasks at Punkaharju Service Home Helmihaara and the social and health centre. It is an advantage to be able to use your own car. Work may also include duties at other Järvi-Saimaan Palvelut sites, e.g., Enonkoski and Savonranta. The position is permanent and full-time. Shifts are mainly on weekdays from 7:00 to 17:00; weekend work may also be required. Start date as soon as possible according to agreement. Experience in catering or cleaning is beneficial, but we train new staff. We are looking for a candidate with a proactive attitude and adequate Finnish skills. Salary is determined by the selected person’s education and experience. We follow the YTES collective agreement. Before starting the job, the successful candidate must present a medical certificate and pass a drug test. We are a smoke-free workplace. A 6-month trial period applies.
