Social Services Manager, Employment Promotion Services - Helsingin kaupunki - Helsinki, Finland

The employment promotion services develop a completely new multidisciplinary systemic service for individuals in the weakest labor market situation, supporting the improvement of clients' work and functional capacity. The target group includes working-age people outside education or working life who cannot currently find employment or be available on open labor markets due to functional limitations. We are now recruiting three new service managers, whose tasks are divided among work and functional capacity assessment, customer guidance, and management of functional groups. As a service manager, you will be responsible for leading the service processes of your sub-unit, developing expertise, and ensuring the functionality and well-being of the work community. You will monitor the budget and report on it to the head of adult social work. You will act as a supervisor for six decision-level supervisors. Your tasks include implementing strategy, planning activities, monitoring finances, and procurement. You are responsible for documenting services, evaluating impact, planning customer process monitoring, statistics, and delegating their implementation. You will also plan and implement self-monitoring. Additionally, your tasks include planning and preparatory tasks, their implementation, communication tasks, and informing about services. You will plan and develop services together with other service managers, supervisors, and the cooperation network. Collaboration with internal and external partners is a key part of the role. You will lead network and service cooperation together with other service managers. Since life is not only work, we also take care of work-life balance. Excellent cooperation skills and financial management skills, such as budgeting, cost monitoring, and financial reporting, are considered an advantage.
