We invite you to apply your testing and metrology expertise in a demanding specialist role where you will influence the operation methods and quality assurance practices of an international supplier network. The position is a new role for our client and you will define testing methods and quality assurance requirements for mechanical components, ensuring that supplier methods, measurement systems and reporting meet the set requirements. The role focuses on being a testing methods expert who collaborates between the client’s product development, operational activities and international component suppliers. You will evaluate supplier readiness, guide the development of testing practices and ensure realization of technical requirements across the supply chain. Methods you will handle may include dimensional inspections, coordinate measurements, laser tracker measurements, 3D scanning, materials and weld testing and other verification methods for mechanical components. Work is mainly performed at the client’s premises in the Helsinki metropolitan area with possible remote work depending on tasks and project situation; there may also be occasional visits to foreign suppliers and you may work at Comatec’s Vantaa site when needed.
