Daycare Assistant

Päiväkoti Engel is a private daycare established in 1993 in southern Helsinki. Engel Daycare consists of four small, cozy daycares near each other: Engel Viiskulma, Engel Huvila, Engel Seppä and Engel Albert. Our daycares nurture a warm, communal and supportive atmosphere with a skilled and ambitious workforce. We are now seeking a daycare assistant for Engel Seppä to oversee cleaning, heating lunches, preparing snacks, and other kitchen duties. The role also includes working with children in a group as a early childhood education caregiver when needed. Our daycare is small, cozy and warm. The position requires good Finnish language skills and a hygiene passport. The chosen candidate must have qualifications as an early childhood education caregiver and fluent Finnish. A valid criminal record extract for working with children must be presented before signing the contract (Act on Background Check of Persons Working with Children 504/2002). The position is fixed-term for 1.9.–18.12.2026. Working hours are 20h per week / 4h per day. Visit our site at www.pkengel.fi.
