An activity leader is needed at the Senior Home in Arabiastranden, Helsinki. The position is a part-time permanent job (80%) with a 6-hour daily shift and starts in September 2026. The main task is to create a meaningful and stimulating daily life for residents, many of whom have memory disorders requiring substantial care and support. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and implementing various activities based on residents' wishes, interests, and individual conditions, and the role includes care work. We seek someone who can contribute to joy, community, and participation in the residents’ everyday lives, who is eager to develop their own work and take on new challenges, and who values teamwork, creativity, flexibility, engagement, and initiative. Previous experience in elder care or similar tasks is an advantage. The working language is Swedish, but fluent Swedish is not required. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team with a positive atmosphere and a strong willingness to help each other.
