
As a Senior Specialist EHS Construction Site, you are responsible for the end-to-end implementation of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements combined with construction and site management in complex pharmaceutical and biotech projects. You will support projects throughout the entire lifecycle – from planning and execution to commissioning – ensuring the highest safety standards as well as adherence to quality, timelines, and budgets. Working closely with interdisciplinary teams and clients, you will make a decisive contribution to the safe and successful realization of modern production facilities. Explore your tasks and responsibilities - Responsibility for HSE management, including the development of safety concepts, risk assessments, and reporting - Conducting hazard analyses, HAZOP studies, and safety evaluations - Ensuring plant, process, and site safety and compliance with all relevant regulations - Coordinating construction site safety, conducting safety inspections, and tracking corrective actions - Supporting regulatory and authority-related requirements and ensuring compliance with conditions - Taking on responsibilities in construction management, particularly in technical building services (TBS / MEP) - Managing tendering, awarding, and construction execution, as well as monitoring costs, schedules, and quality - Coordinating all trades on-site and ensuring smooth construction processes - Active interface management between engineering, clients, and execution teams - Responsibility for office site support, including organization and coordination of occupational safety topics Show your expertise - Degree in engineering (e.g., process engineering, supply engineering, building services engineering, chemistry, or biotechnology) or a comparable qualification - Additional certification in HSE / safety engineering / EKAS / SiGeKo is an advantage - Several years of experience in HSE and/or construction management, ideally in pharmaceutical or biotech plant construction - Knowledge of TBS/MEP systems (e.g., HVAC, utilities, heating/cooling, sanitation) is desirable - Experience in construction supervision, tendering, and awarding processes - Familiarity with Swiss standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirements - Proficiency in MS Office and ideally project and planning tools - Very good German and good English skills - Willingness to travel within Switzerland - Strong teamwork, assertiveness, communication skills, and a structured working style
