System Test Engineer

We are looking for System Test Engineers to join our team in Kaarina. You'll work with the Unikie Marshalling Solution, validating system functionality, investigating technical issues, and ensuring reliable system behaviour throughout development. The work combines hands-on system testing, troubleshooting, and close collaboration with developers. Some positions are primarily based in Turku/Kaarina, while others also involve customer validation work and regular travel across Europe. We're looking for someone who enjoys understanding how technical systems work, likes solving challenging problems, and is persistent in finding the root cause when something doesn't behave as expected. Responsibilities include planning, executing, and documenting system testing and validation, verifying new functionality and overall system behaviour, investigating, reproducing, and troubleshooting technical issues, working closely with developers throughout testing and defect resolution, and contributing to test automation where appropriate. Qualifications include experience testing technically complex software or software-hardware systems, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, ability to work independently, technical background in software engineering, computer engineering, electronics, automation, embedded systems, or related fields, and good communication skills in English. Experience with embedded, industrial, automotive, robotics, telecom, defence, medical devices, or other complex systems, system integration, system-level testing, validation, diagnostics, test automation or scripting (Python, Java), and working with APIs, communication protocols, or diagnostic tools is especially valued. Finnish language skills and willingness to travel across Europe are additional advantages.
