Technical Delivery Engineer

What you’ll be doing: Be responsible for technical activities in release deployments to customer environments Perform testing and validation to ensure quality of deployments Be at the center of communications between customer teams and product development, to fix bugs and improve the software Investigate issues that come up in release deployments Improve our release upgrade practices and processes within and across teams What you’ll bring to the table: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in the field of Software Engineering or IT Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong teamwork capabilities Programming experience (Bash, Ruby, Java) Understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows for deployment and testing Basic knowledge of databases Basic knowledge of Linux and Unix Drive for continuous improvement Fluent communication skills in English What we consider as an advantage: Located in Melbourne and/or able to attend in person for team days and workshops Solid task management skills Outstanding work ethic and sense of urgency to resolve issues quickly and efficiently if they occur during deployments Proactive and result-driven attitude towards work Experience and understanding of retail, supply chain management and enterprise software Entrepreneurial attitude Experience in Quality Assurance We offer: A front row seat in a rapidly growing and international software company A fun, ambitious, and committed team of smart people to work with A respectful and professional, yet easy-going atmosphere where individual thinking is encouraged Responsibilities in challenging projects from day one International career and learning opportunities A position where you can help retailers fight against food waste Life at RELEX is defined by collaboration, respect, and flexibility.
